Frequently Asked Questions

We have put together a list of questions we are most frequently asked if you don't find your question answered on this page, please contact me.

Does it hurt

Everyone's pain threshold is different but the majority of clients will say that the treatment has minimal pain.

How much does it cost?

Every person’s hair loss is individual and therefore the price will depend on the stage of your baldness and what your requirements are, but on average, prices start at £500 and an average treatment is around £2500

How long will each treatment take?

Each session, on average, will take around 3 to 4 hours – this includes any breaks you may want to take during the session

How long will it last for?

This is a permanent treatment and will last a lifetime if cared for as recommended in the aftercare. I would generally recommend brief touch ups every 3 to 6 years

How will you design my hairline?

I will work with your preferences and initially will design the hairline drawing on the skin with a white pencil – this enables us both to see how it will suit you and the treatment has the flexibility to be added to and adjusted at following sessions. I believe that less is more and this approach enables me to make adjustments to give you a perfect finish.

What is the aftercare?

I will provide full aftercare at the appointment and will also give you a written sheet as well but it's very simple, basically ensure you use a high factor sunscreen when exposed to the sun, keep it dry and don’t shave it for 4 days after each treatment, avoid intense, sweaty exercise for 7 days after treatment and the scalp should not be washed or shaved for 4 days. chlorinated swimming pools are to be avoided for a month.

Will it fade?

Initially it may look a little darker but once healed, will fade down slightly to give a more natural appearance

What are your qualifications?

I have done numerous training course in the field of permanent makeup since 2013 so I am no stranger to micro pigmentation. I completed the introduction to Scalp Micro Pigmentation training with Brandwood International (CPD accredited) and qualified in May 2017
